When we found out that our friends Brian and Jessica were moving from Utah to Connecticut we were so excited to have someone we knew in this neck of the country and Brian's parents happen to live on one of the most pristine Finger Lakes in New York, only an hour and a half from where we live in northern Pennsylvania. Brian and Jessica and his parents were so nice to invite us to join them for the 4th of July weekend, we had a blast and were in awe of the beauty of this quaint, crystal clear lake.
Friday morning we went wine tasting to a few of many wineries along Cayuga Lake. Many white and sweet wines are made in upstate New York and they are delicious!
The rest of the weekend we spent on the lake and feasting on amazing meals with great company. Brian's parents were so incredibly hospitable, we can't thank them enough! It was a great way to kick off our new adventure living in the northeast!
