As with the last post, this one is a bit late. In mid June, Chris and I spent a Sunday in Watkins Glen, New York, which is a small town on the southern tip of Seneca Lake. It is most well known for Watkins Glen State Park where you can wander a trail under and over waterfalls, nineteen to be exact, within two miles of a beautiful gorge. We first ate a late lunch overlooking the lake then took a stroll around the marina before heading over to the park.
Walking through the gorge was mesmerizing. I couldn't believe this was only about an hour from where we live.
Another great adventure right outside our door steps!
