In light of winter looming around the corner and the snowpocalypse happening in Buffalo, I thought I'd post some old photos from a trip to Utah and Wyoming back in April.
We did a sort of trifecta ski trip, starting in Park City with some friends. Then we headed to Ogden to tackle organizing/checking on our storage unit, and of course hit up our favorite ski resort, Snow Basin. When we lived in Ogden we spent almost every weekend of the winter there.
Our final ski stop was at Jackson Hole for the last day of the season. At the end of an intense day on the slopes (some of the most intimidating runs I've ever been on), we caught the last tram ride of the year which was a pretty wild ride.
Before heading home, we stopped in Pinedale, WY to visit some good friends and Chris was convinced (or tricked maybe?) into doing the 'Jackalope Jump' which entailed jumping into a pool of water at a brisk 36 degrees, while it was around the same temperature outside. I loved watching every minute of it.
I had fun looking back at our trip skiing and visiting friends in Utah and Wyoming, I'm actually a little excited for winter now… well, not too excited but a little more ready for the snow!
