I finally got around to finish editing a gopro video from a weekend trip to Rhode Island back in September, better late then never, right? Well, the whole weekend was a surprise for Chris' birthday, even down to our friend Jorge flying in for the dive. We rented a hotel room for the weekend, strolled around Newport for an evening, hopped on a boat the next day and swam with a beautiful Blue Shark (who had a fishing line stuck in his mouth, poor thing). There was even a Fin Whale that popped up to say hello after our dive. Oh, and of course we stuffed our faces with the most delicious 3 pound lobster immediately after pulling in the harbor! After forgetting to bring any lunch on the boat, that lobster tasted reeeaalllyy good! We'll be looking forward to going back this summer and try for a great white...and yes Mom, I'll stay in the cage next time ;)
