NYC

Part 2 of our tour de New York weekend began on Saturday after we said goodbye to the beautiful Adirondack mountains and headed to the city. If you didn't see Part 1, check it out, it was breathtaking.

We bought tickets to see a band called Fink at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn with our friends Dave and DeAnna who live in the city. The show was awesome and there was, as the lead singer said, "a terrifying amount of hipsters" which was also entertaining.

After the concert we walked around Brooklyn, went to a German Beer Garden and had some late night artichoke pizza, which was delicious…but what isn't at 2 in the morning?

The next day's agenda was shopping in Soho. We only scratched the surface of all the shops in the area but found some great small boutiques, including Vint and YorkWill Leather Goods where I bought this gorgeous purse and the most amazing Ralph Lauren store.

I love that we are only a three and a half hour drive from NYC, I'm sure we will be back quite a bit while living in northern Pennsylvania.

Until next time, Big Apple...
